Max Dean Elder, 59, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:02 A.M., Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Max is known for being a hard worker and a jack of all trades, from working with asbestos, carpentry, roofing and everything in between. He was a member of Local Labors Union #773, active with Eagles Lodge #779, and a previous president of Du Quoin Jaycee's.
Max loved his grandkids, his dog Boots, riding his motorcycles, and training and riding horses. He was always ready to enjoy grilling out with family and friends and blasting his music. You would find him always working on a project and tinkering with everything. We raise a toast and a toke in memory of our beloved Max Elder.
