Michelle Lee (Shain) Davison, 53, of Elkville, died peacefully in her home with her loving husband by her side at 3:12 A.M., Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Michelle was born in Belleville, IL on August 13, 1970, the daughter of Larry David and Patricia G. (Neely) Shain.
She married Rick Davison on January 4, 2000 in Du Quoin, IL.
Michelle was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Royalton, IL.  She played a tenor sax in church for many years.  Michelle loved playing with her grandchildren and playing games with her nieces.
She is survived by her loving husband Rick Davison of Elkville, daughter - Sarah Loftin and husband Tim of Lima, Ohio, sons - Cody Cerami and Leander Cerami, both of Carbondale, IL, grandchildren - Isaiah, Dakota, Dallas, Sophia, and Kadie, her mother and father - Patricia and David Betts of Royalton, IL, two siblings - Craig Shain of Marion and Cynthia Brooks and husband Phillip of Elkville, nieces - Heather Gillespie and husband Bobby of Pensacola, FL, Jennifer Mantia of Belleville, IL, Ashley Tegel of Pinckneyville, Destiny Creech and husband Tyler of Elkville, several aunts and uncles, many cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father - Larry "David" Shain, paternal grandma and grandpa - Beulah Shain and Ralph Shaine and maternal grandma and grandpas - Howard Neely, Virginia Schrader and Bob Schrader, and one nephew - Justin Shain.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M., Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
