Nancy A. Genisio, 85, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:00 P.M., Monday, May 3, 2021 at the SIH Memorial Hospital at Carbondale.
Nancy had been office manager for Perry County Public Aid. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.
She was born July 29, 1935 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of James Angel and Ida Frances (Licata) Genisio.
She is survived by two cousins - Rick Licata and wife Lou Ann of Makanda, IL and Jo Karen Licata and wife Dana Pilon of Arlington, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - James Angel Genisio, Jr.
Per Nancy's request, cremation rites were accorded.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to Masses or the Sacred Heart Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
