Nancy Marie Grott, 79, of Tamaroa, passed away at 4:05 A.M., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Fairview Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Du Quoin.
Nancy spent her early years at Boyles Country Store and Shell Station in Tamaroa. She loved music, crafts and in her later years, bingo. She enjoyed her three nieces and helping take care of them while they were growing up.

She was born August 24, 1942 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Marie (Boyles) Grott.
She is survived by one brother - Bob Grott and wife Jeanne of Tamaroa and three nieces - Monica Gaines and husband Charles of Du Quoin, Tonya Schorfheide and husband Greg of Nashville, and Jennifer Adelsberger and husband Charles of Herrin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents - Albert and Pearl (Frazee) Boyles and Joseph and Rose (Dalman) Grott.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
