Norma J. Walters Lee, 82, of Boise, Idaho, passed away at 10:23 P.M., March 1, 2025 at Saint Lukes Hospital in Boise, Idaho.
Norma had worked as a manager for thrift stores and children's homes. Her work in helping the community and troubled youth was her lifes passion. She adored the children she mentored.
She was born May 2, 1942 in Tamaroa, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Willamina (Telkemeyer) Walters. She was one of three sisters Frieda Zettler and husband John, Carol Jahn and husband George, and four brothers - Hank Walters and wife Sally, Alex Walters and wife Judy, Jerry Walters Heape and wife Lynn, and John Dale Walters.
She is survived by her son Tony Lee and daughter in law Toni Lee of Middleton, Idaho, three Grandchildren Rachael Coats and husband Devin, Nicole Tinklenberg and Jordan, Jennifer Lee, three Great Grandchildren, Aurora, Declan and Lukas and she was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy M. Walters Lee of Bedford Heights, Ohio.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at the Mueller Hill Cemetery, 1 mile west of Pinckneyville off Rt 13. with Rev. Josh Zettler officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
