Patricia Rose Stephens, 89, of Dowell, passed away at 2:24 A.M., Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Patricia had been a homemaker.  She loved to bowl, play golf, dance and travel.  She also loved spending time with her family.
She was born October 14, 1935 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Catherine (Downs) Williams.
She married Clifton Hestand and he preceded her in death.  She married Frederick Stephens and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children - Debbie Barnett and husband Tom of Michigan City, IN, David Stephens of Dowell, and Douglas Stephens and wife JacQuelyn of Michigan City, IN, her significant other - Howard Reynolds of Dowell, special children - Jason Reynolds of Elko, NV and Sharon Reynolds Haege (Randy Lewis) of Du Quoin, one sister - Marlene Kellerman and husband Ray of Du Quoin, eight grandchildren - Robert Stephens, John Barnett, Kayla Barker and husband Jeff, Cole Stephens and wife Aislinn, Chase Stephens, Keaton Haege, Lindsey Meyerhoff, and Byron Reynolds, and six great grandchildren - Lena, Rylie, Boone, Violet, Kinslei, and Ella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter - Sylvia Stephens, and one son - Jimmy Stephens.
Per Patricia's request, cremation rites will be accorded.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
