Patty Ann Crowe, 81, of Murphysboro, passed away at 6:54 P.M., Monday, August 31, 2026 at the SIH Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL.
Patty had worked at Hallmark in Carbondale for many years and was a manager.  She loved reading and playing cards with her sisters.  Patty enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born November 26, 1944 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Albert Lee and Mabel Ola (Slover) Perkey.
She married Jess Edward Crowe on October 15, 1966 in Perry County, IL and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two children - Michael Edward Crowe of Kimberly, AL and Melinda Dawn Clark and husband Troy of Murphysboro, IL, five grandchildren - Mikayla Anne Crowe, Micah Rayne Crowe, and Ashlee Marie Maillard, all of Kimberly, AL, Jillian Annaliese Clark, and Joscelin Jorjanna Clark, both of Murphysboro, three sisters - Judy Rybacki and husband Leonard of Du Quoin, Donna Ripley and husband Gene of Murphysboro, and Connie Smith and husband Charles of Du Quoin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Mark Allen Crowe, three sisters - Norma Heatherly, Linda Restoff, and Betty Scronce, and three brothers - Leo Perkey, Roger Perkey, and Bobby Perkey.
Per Patty's request, cremation rites will be accorded.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
