Paula Jeanne Calvert, 74, of Coulterville, passed away at 11:18 A.M., Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Paula had worked as an administrative assistant for Du Quoin IIP Corrections Department.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Paula enjoyed shopping, especially thrift stores.  She loved her dog Samson.
She was born May 10, 1952 in Herrin, IL, the daughter of Paul Louis and Angeline (DeFrank) Barrale.
She married Patrick Calvert on December 2, 2019 in Chester, IL and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2026.
She is survived by her grandson - Phineas Bond of Coulterville and one brother - Frank Barrale.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Memorial visitation will be from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to St. Francis Animal Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
