Randall Joseph Dodds, Sr., 70, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 11:34 A.M., Monday, March 31, 2025 at his residence.
Randall had been an IBEW electrician.  He was a United States Marine Corps veteran.  Randall enjoyed riding his Harley, mowing his lawn and spending time with his grandkids.  He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He was born October 7, 1954 in Carbondale, IL, the son of Robert and Jewell (Bradley) Dodds.
He is survived by four children - Amber Duran of Du Quoin, Trisha Dodds of Charleston, IL, Randall Dodds II of Hemet, CA, and Marshall Dodds of Pinckneyville, daughter-in-law that he loved like a daughter - Regina Dodds, three sisters - Tanya Paul of Ava, Pam Dodds of Carbondale, and Holly Teller of Culp, two brothers - Jimmy and Gary, fifteen grandchildren - Jeannie, Asia, Joseph, Lilyanna, Tristan, Destiny, Barbara, Robert, Scarlett, Catalina, Sammy, Ireland, Raelynn, Athena, and Aurora, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and friend - Maxine Ryeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister - Kathy Simpson.
Per Randall's request, cremation rites were accorded.
Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.  Please contact Marshall for information regarding service.
