Richard Culligan, 58, of Mulkeytown, passed away at 7:33 P.M., Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, IL.
Richard had been a laborer in construction for many years.
He was born August 17, 1962 at Chicago, IL, the son of Richard and Gertrude (McGinnis) Culligan.
He married Lynne Whetstine on October 19, 1985 at Chicago, IL and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Mulkeytown, three sisters - Maryann Schriener and husband Frank of Frankfort, IL, Margaret Hunter and husband Bob of Tinley Park, IL, and Trisha Culligan of Chicago, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother - Dennis Culligan.
Per Richard's request, cremation rites were accorded.
