Riley Layne George, 7 month old infant son of Katerina Moody and Bryant George, passed away at 1:10 P.M., Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville, IL.
Riley was born October 12, 2025 at Mt. Vernon, IL.
Riley never met a stranger and was the happiest baby.  He was always smiling.
He is survived by his mother of Sparta, his father of Tamaroa, siblings - Easton George of Tamaroa, Uriah Steiner of Sparta, and Evan Moody of Sparta, grandparents - Ray and Janet George of Tamaroa, great grandmother - Agnes George of Tamaroa, great grandparents - Steve and Sharon Huelsman of Pinckneyville, aunts and uncles - Kiela Vuichard and Brandon of Pinckneyville, Brandon and Chacy George of Du Quoin, Alexandria Evinger of Sparta, and Brandon Robinson of Pinckneyville, numerous great aunts and great uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather - Darrel George, great grandmother - Nancy Presswood, and great grandparents - Norman and Ruth Beard.
Graveside service will be at Noon, Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
