Ruth Ann Fronek, 75, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:55 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Ruth had worked as a registered nurse. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was born April 15, 1947 in Coal City, IL, the daughter of Roy R. and Loraine (Taylor) Glidewell.
Ruth married Joe T. Fronek in 1982 in Du Quoin, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, four children - Aaron L. Hartleb and wife Laurie of St. Louis, MO, Scott A. Hartleb of Tamaroa, Terry J. Hartleb and wife Patti of Tamaroa, and Sara E. Fronek West of Du Quoin, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers - William Glidewell, James Paul Glidewell, and Eddie H. Glidewell, and one sister - Linda J. Morgan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Friends may call from 9A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
