Scottrina Kay "Scottie" Grizzell, 47, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:39 P.M., Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Scottie had worked at the Five Star Industries workshop.  She enjoyed puzzle and activity books.  Scottie also enjoyed watching Patrick Swayze movies.
She was born May 15, 1978 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Scott and Brenda Lee (Knapp) Grizzell.
She is survived by one sister - Janie Stroud of Du Quoin, one brother - Teddy Loucks of Elkville, nieces and nephews - Trenton Loucks, Taylor Williams, Brandon Evans, Brittany Stroud, and Ojuida Baugus, several aunts and uncles, and cousins - Mr. Bones and Pammy VanHoorebeke of Du Quoin, Misty Kujawa of Ashley, Virginia Fann of Tamaroa, and Clifton VanHoorebeke of Pinckneyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents - Edith Nevill, Oren and Wilma Grizzell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Derby's Community Hall in Du Quoin.
