Shawn P. McBride , 53, born August 27th 1970,  of North County St. Louis MO (had lived in Edwardsville, IL and recently Nashville, IL) passed away on Oct 24, 2023 of liver cancer.
Shawn was the 3rd generation of Affiliated Insurance Agencies. He enjoyed dedicating his time to building the legacy he has left with his sons and father. Some of the most cherished being his cabin, house flips, and pond at the family farm. He also enjoyed manning the grill, soaking up sun on the beach, and spending time at the family farm in Pinckneyville, IL.. Shawn always involved himself with events that helped children through his church and various athletic programs.
He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Florissant, MO and most recently Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Tamoroa, IL.
He is survived by his wife- Lisa, sons-Gavin (Kyleigh) and Jared, daughters-Haven and Kilee, granddaughter-Lily, parents, dad- Bob (Sue), mom-Kay, sisters- Kelly and Shannon.
He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, beloved family members, and close friends too young to have passed before him.
Shawn was well cared for and loved by the Rulevish family of Perry County, IL.
A celebration of life will be held once arrangements have been finalized.
