Sheryl Irvin, 59, of Elkville, passed away at 3:45 A.M., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Shawnee Senior Living in Herrin, IL.
Sheryl had worked as a CNA for home health care.
She was born September 28, 1962 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Donald and Helen Marie "Sally" (Sutton) Chastain.
She is survived by two sons - John Gassel of Elkville and Bryan Irvin of Arkansas, two brothers - Doni Chastain of Kentucky and Terry Chastain, and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers - Robert Brock, Sr. and Jerry Chastain, and one sister - Donna J. Chastain.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M., Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be at a later date at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
