Teddi L. Maxton, 78, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:10 P.M., Monday, July 19, 2021 at the SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Teddi had been a homemaker. She loved antiquing and flea markets. Teddi was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was born March 8, 1943 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of George and Hilda (Mangin) Bernhard.
She is survived by her life partner - Max William Dearman of Tamaroa, one son - Billy Maxton and Mary Gant of Du Quoin, one daughter - Bambi Lynn Harmon of Du Quoin, four grandchildren - McClaine Dalton Houghland, Nathan David Barton, Luke Denton Lombardo, and Trey Dillon Lombardo, and one brother - George Bernhard of Du Quoin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Teddi's request, cremation rites were accorded.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
