Terry Ray Keller, 67, of Tamaroa, passed away at 1:15 P.M., Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Terry was born on December 21, 1952 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Robert and Helen (Rice) Keller.

Terry was a graduate of Rend Lake College. His work career consisted of working for Sam Malinski Tire Service, Freeman Coal Company, Murray Center in Centralia, and St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. He enjoyed being a volunteer fire fighter for Tamaroa for twenty years. He also enjoyed his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his three children - Terry Michael Keller (Kayla) of Petersburg, MI, Tracy Rose Melvin (Jerime) of Thompsonville, IL, and Benjamin Christopher Keller and girlfriend Carley Hill of Tamaroa, seven grandchildren - Josephine Keller, Olivia Keller, Austin Melvin, Cooper Melvin, Paisley Melvin, Paxton Melvin, and Dax Keller, and one brother - David Keller of Gillette, WY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one infant brother.

Per Terry's request, cremation rites were accorded.

A celebration of life service will be at a later date.

Friends may make memorials to the Tamaroa Volunteer Fire Department or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
