Virginia L. Doolin, 91, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:40 A.M., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Virginia had been a homemaker.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Du Quoin.  Virginia was an avid golfer and bowler.  She loved to play bridge and enjoyed painting.
She was born January 20, 1932 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Dempsey and Irene (Smith) Genesio.
She married Donald C. Willi on December 19, 1952 in Du Quoin, IL and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1985.  She then married Gerald E. Doolin on April 6, 1990 in Las Vegas, NV and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2019.
She is survived by three children - Carolyn Crews and husband Tony of Du Quoin, Gary Willi and wife Jill of Lewisville, TX, and Steve Willi of Du Quoin, two step children - Staci Doolin of Arizona and Robyn Miller of California, one sister - Marion Emling of Du Quoin, twelve grandchildren, two step grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son - Donald C. Willi, Jr., one step son - James Doolin, one brother - Charles Genesio and one sister - Naomi Kimmel.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. April Turner officiating.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL.
