Virginia Belle Moss, 78, of Tamaroa, passed away at 9:23 P.M., Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her residence.
Virginia had been a hard worker her whole life.  She enjoyed baking and crocheting.  Virginia also loved going to Gold Plate, her adult daycare.  She enjoyed sitting on her porch watching birds.
She was born October 11, 1946 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Frances (Weisel) Haycraft.
She is survived by three children - Keith Moss, Kevin Moss and Tara, and Angela Moss, all of Tamaroa, six grandchildren - Dustin, Cody, Chelsey Mae, J-Bird, Tabba Wabba, and Brendon Earl, special friend - Chris Burnett, and family friend - Heather Wayer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters - Debra Moss, Virginia Huggins, and Janice Graff, one son - Carl "Zeke" Moss, one granddaughter - Joyce Moss, one grandson - Shaun Dempsy, two brothers - Richard Haycraft and Joshua Haycraft, and one sister - Edna Pitman.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Antioch Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
