Virginia May Wyciskalla, 85, passed away at 9:43 P.M., Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at her residence. We said goodbye to our Grandma Jeni. The tough farm girl fought hard. This past week she has been surrounded by all of her kids and grandkids. She even had some pretty good sleepovers in her final hours. We can't think of anything better than a sleepover at grandma's house. We are so thankful we could all be with her.
Grandma Jeni, we will always remember the smell of your laundry fresh off the line, the smell of your perfume that you would put on before you went to work at the hospital on midnights, watching you dance to polka music at family gatherings, and watching the Golden Girls with you. The core of our childhood memories are the long summer days spent in your pool.
We will miss you. May you rest in eternal peace. We love you.
