William A. Tripp, 84, of Menifee, CA, formerly of Mulkeytown, passed away at 5:45 P.M., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Pacifica Senior Living in Menifee, CA.
William had been a laborer in construction. He attended a non-denominational Christian church.
He was born October 4, 1937 at Hallidayboro, IL, the son of Ira and Eva (Akin) Tripp.
He is survived by his children - Cathi Tripp McClanahan of Illinois, Lisa Tripp Rice of Illinois, Carol Tripp Queen of Illinois, Mark Tripp of Florida, and Barbara Tripp of New York, several grandchildren, brothers - Jack Tripp of DeSoto and George Tripp of South Carolina, sister - Mary Jane Stewart of Elkville, and several nieces and nephews including Barbara Davis, whom he lived with.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters, one step brother, and two step sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Jerry Aken officiating.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Hallidayboro Cemetery at Hallidayboro.
